By faith, Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. “  [Hebrews 11:8]

The truth never alters course—the principles of faith remain the same—but application in the 21st century has a different perspective—a different view.

Revival is happening in the U.S.—everywhere you turn people are talking about spiritual things. Seeking a spiritual root results in a spiritual perspective and can find no end but God!  Knowing there is a spiritual dimension is a break through for the scientific, western thinking mindset.

Blessing or curse—life or death—light or darkness believing in the unseen world is a step toward seeing the ‘unknown God’ of the thinking man.  A resurgence and awareness of a supernatural world obliges man to step aside and know there is a power behind power, a force that cannot be seen yet touches the yearning within man to know the source and reason for his existence.

It wasn’t Moses that tore down the gods of Egypt it was God—and every thing that exalts itself above the Living God shall be torn down.  It wasn’t Paul that revealed the gods in Athens – ”For as I walked around and looked carefully at your objects of worship, I even found an altar with this inscription to AN UNKNOWN GOD!”  [Acts 17:23] It was God himself who made Himself known to the thinking men of Athens.

Structures, formulas, twelve steps or ‘proven patterns’ of the past are just memories of yesterday, they lay like broken toys on the nursery floor—the box has been broken and the body of Christ is rising to a new level of freedom—”It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.  Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.”
