”Speak, for your servant is listening” [1 Samuel 3:10b]

The moment man’s heart is turned and his ear tuned to the voice of the Holy Spirit the Living Word is there.  Re-planting azaleas was just such a moment.

In the Garden, what a wonderful place to hear God’s voice and be established in His ways.  The plants become personified as they represent our lives.  The bigger the bushes become the more they need their own space…the more light and air and sunshine, the more ground they need and the more fruit they produce.  It is time for the people of God to ”Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes” [Isaiah 54:2 NIV]

To hear is to see—”See, I am about to do something in Israel that will make the ears of everyone who hears of it tingle” [1 Samuel 3:11]

After warning and giving opportunity to repent the Lord does not reverse what He has said.  Those that ignore the warning of God will see the hand of God move to allow defeat.

As I continued to meditate I realized the thoughts of my heart were not ‘nice’ and I began to ask for cleansing, but suddenly the Holy Spirit said “Diane stop it…what you are hearing and seeing is correct…you are hearing truth…there is evil in the land…attitude is how you respond to the truth…when the truth is discernment of evil then the attitude is one of compassion, prayer and intercession. Intercede for My mercy and repentance to be made known in the land.  It is time to intercede for your fellow man and for the nations.”
