”…they still did not believe it because of JOY and amazement” [Luke 24:41]

There’s a natural tendency to respond in amazement and unbelief when God does something miraculous…”this is too good to be true”  we say!  It’s what happens at the crossroads when hearts turn toward God and the presence of the ascended Christ moves through the crossroads to reveal His plan and purpose.

In the scene Jesus shows up at the crossroad where the disciples are down, depressed and believing all is lost—the situation had resulted in thinking all their hopes were shattered…but God showed up and proved His Word.

When the circumstances are placed in His hands He consumes every detail just as He did with the fish and proved Himself alive and faithful to His own Word because He is the Word.  ”This is what I told you while I was still with you:  Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms.”  [Luke 24:44]

When sitting at the crossroads it is wise to look to the full counsel of God—adjusting to the full counsel will bring joy and amazement.  By His grace and goodness life unfolds season by season the former overlaps the present and the present holds the seeds for the days to come.— What God gives requires our participation by using the ‘seed’ ”I give you every seed…”  [Genesis 1:29]  to increase life.

Search for the seeds and plant them according to God’s direction.   then wait for the power to see them grow.  You’ll say…this is ‘almost’ too good to be true—but it IS!
