For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”  John 3:16

“Preach a therapeutic word,” the preacher said.  My childish thought protested, “What about sin.  What about the law?  I have long since realized you only get caught in that which you do not love and to love is to obey.   Love transcends the law or law will kill love.  They cannot co-exist.

When life has caught the wind, it takes only a millisecond to know the wind has just caught you!  What has been caught becomes a conquest of worship; life begins anew, and understanding of the value of one lone life explodes with growth in the very love that conceived it.  Paul said it this way,”I want you woven into a tapestry of love, in touch with everything there is to know of God.  Then you will have minds confident and at rest, focused on Christ, God’s great mystery” (Colossians 2:2-3 TM).

From the beginning God saw our perversion and has provided for our need. ”God took one look and saw how bad it was, everyone corrupt and corrupting—life itself corrupt to the core”  (Genesis 6:11 TM). What is sown into the heart that received Christ is incorruptible: ”Having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever” (1 Peter 1:23 NKJV).  It cannot die but is raised a new creation.

Faithfully focus on Him and He will reveal who you are!
