“…the whole city was stirred and asked, “Who is this?” [Matthew 21:10

I once head on the evening news that the commotion caused by people of ‘other’ faiths praying so loud in public places that the authorities were brought in!

This reminded me of the scene 2000 years ago when the crowds were praising the Son of David—Jesus entered the city and the whole place was in a stir.  Being quiet and sedate is not exactly the biblical principle of making the Son of God known.  Praise will always bring a great stir—Jesus will enter, when He does the process begins.

First—Everything but prayer will be removed from the place of worship—the process is intended to establish the priority of prayer.   “My house will be called a house of prayer, but you are making it a ‘den of robbers.’”  [Matthew 21:13] God will always take ownership of what belongs to Him by resetting the priority of prayer

Second—Ever wonder why things begin to get ‘unsettled’—dislodged—‘stuff’ starts flying around like dust in a whirlwind—hang tough prayer purifies and proves God is at work.

Third—Purity releases power—like a magnet it draws the sick, the blind and the lame into the place of worship—Are needs overwhelming and problems growing like weeds on a rubbish heap! —Hold fast God is healing the people!

The circle never ends –praise, prayer, purity, power, praise! From beginning to end the entrance of Jesus Christ is through the doorway of PRAISE—LOUD—CLAMOROUS PRAISE—those who are awakened by the clamor ask the question—“Who is this?”  Let the children praise Him. “From the lips of children and infants, you have ordained praise” [Matthew 21:16]
