And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through accompanying signs.  Amen” [Mark 16:20]

Sometimes we look for God to confirm what He has said before we act, but this morning’s light says that the Word must be acted upon and spoken, and then comes the confirmation.   From the beginning we read that whatever was to be created was first spoken – seven times it is written in Genesis 1  “…and God said! “

Living according to what God has said about the plan or destiny of our lives is imperative to fulfilling the goal or vision.  What we see is not yet in view, but when it is birthed in the Spirit it shall be manifest in the natural.  That is the order of things in the Kingdom of God!  Until a thing is made visible we believe in that which is invisible, our faith becomes the evidence of what we cannot yet see.

Living according to who God has made us to be means we exhibit a confidence in what He has chosen us to do.   In that arena there is no risk or stress, rather our lives are peaceful because we are abiding.  The King of peace resides within us and in Him there is no risk or stress.   Our journey is one of learning about ourselves as the righteousness of God.   All else is dead, gone, forgotten!  We walk in the newness of life.  We are learning to define our identify from our place and position in Christ and discovering more about ourselves and who He wants to be for us.

Living in the Way that is personified in Jesus Christ provides all that is needful or necessary because His Way is the way of peace, provision and protection.   You and I can do what God has said because it is no longer we that live, but Christ who lives in and through us.  Give Him praise that He has confirmed Himself through you today!
