“Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord” [Romans 6:11]
Living in the kingdom means living by faith through grace. Total freedom, total release, knowing that the Sovereignty of God never changes and the pattern, purpose and plan for one’s life is already documented in the books of heaven. You might believe that in place of total freedom there are still ‘requirements’, but that is a false assumption. Law has requirements—Love has only desire. Law kills, love brings life and liberty. God would desire us to live in the fulfillment or the fullness of what He has already accomplished.
The greater the reality of God consciousness in life the more freedom there is to be who you are and to do as your desire leads you to do. It is this God that you have become so conscious of that lives within you both to will and to do of His good pleasure.
Strange how the church has deceived many Christians into thinking if something is pleasurable then it must be sin, that serving and living for Christ can be a passionless exercise. Only those living by the Spirit of God understand these things. Of course, sin also brings momentary pleasure, but for those called by God they are saints of God—they have reckoned themselves dead to sin, they have become new creations. Why is it people do not understand about being ‘born again’, a new creation, and becoming a saint, or the fact that where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom!
