”For it was in Him that all things were created…” [Colossians 1:16 Amp]
Panic attacks—anxiety attacks—no need to deny it they come close to us all and sometimes get a grip before we do! But praise be to God His grip reminds us that “…you shall not be ashamed; neither be confounded and depressed,For your Maker is your Husband–the Lord of hosts is His name…” [Isaiah 54:4-5]
Andrei Bitov, a Russian novelist, grew up under an atheistic communist regime, but God got his attention. He recalls, ‘One dreary day while riding the Metro in St. Petersburg, I was overcome with a despair so great that life seemed to stop at once, preempting the future entirely, let alone any meaning. Suddenly, all by itself, a phrase appeared: without God life makes no sense. Repeating it in astonishment, I rode the phrase up like a moving staircase, got out of the Metro and walked into God’s life.’
The preordination and predetermination of your life is already written. ”Your eyes saw my unformed substance, and in Your book all the days of my life were written before ever they took shape, when as yet there was none of them” [Psalm 139:16 Amp]
Don’t get shaken by panic—sink into the everlasting arms of Almighty God and revive your security. ”The eternal God is your refuge and dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms; He drove the enemy before you and thrust them out, saying, Destroy!” [Deuteronomy 33:27 Amp] His grip is the greatest grip!
