Mortals make elaborate plans, but God has the last word.” [Proverbs 16:

We sing the song on Sunday – God is good all the time, and the echo sings back – and all the time God is Good!  Then comes the morning, Monday morning, and we are sent out into the market places of life.  Something happens between Friday and Monday, changes are being made, and we didn’t make them, we didn’t expect them, didn’t approve them, or plan them.  So now what?

Well the song of Sunday must go to work on Monday – God is Good ALL the time.  This thing is in God’s hands.  Note I didn’t say ‘by’ God’s hand, I said ‘in’ God’s hands.  He is never surprised neither is He superseded, but being the Good God He is He simply takes all things and weaves them through His plan and purpose.  That is for those who love Him and are called for His purpose!  [Ref. Romans 8:28] The blueprint of your life is in His hands.  He’s just transforming it for your good and His Glory!

This is when the going gets tough, but by God’s grace the tough get going.  This is what Peter was talking about when he said, “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”  [2] Peter 3:18].  The process is painful but powerful when grace holds the hand of knowledge and brings forth the fruit of wisdom, discernment and understanding.  Knowledge will clear the head.  Grace will heal the heart.

Keep in mind this morning, “The Lord knows those who are his…” [2 Timothy 2:19]

Stay in the hand that holds both grace and knowledge and keep singing – God is good all the time and all the time God is Good!
