”Jesus said…For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may be made blind” [John 9:39 NKJ]

The Message says it more plainly,  “I came into the world to bring everything into the clear light of day, making all the distinctions clear, so that those who have never seen will see, and those who have made a great pretense of seeing will be exposed as blind.”   Those who think they see—think they know—think they understand are cautioned by this word to seek the only one that knows all things.  The religious of the day thought they could see yet didn’t recognize Jesus standing in front of them.  The response of Jesus to such arrogance was ” If you were really blind, you would be blameless, but since you claim to see everything so well, you’re accountable for every fault and failure.”  [John 9:41 TM]

One step in the right direction in obedience to the light, and the manifestation of the Son of God in your mortal flesh is as certain as that God is on His throne.  When once God’s light has come to us through Jesus Christ, we must never hang back, but obey; and we shall not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. [Oswald Chambers]

The world would say seeing is believing—Christ says  believing is seeing!   The miraculous is all around us but seeing it requires a ‘turn around’ —from sin to sight, from doubt to deliverance, from mediocrity to the miraculous!
