“…be filled with the fullness of God” [Ephesians 3:19]

Problems that make relationships bumpy, strained, or just plain aggravating are dissolved when you are ‘filled with the fullness of God’.  Therefore the fastest way to reconciliation, revival, or restoration is… be filled with the fullness of God.

The fullness of God speaks of more than a one-time experience or knowing one aspect of His truth and Grace.  It points to a broad-based spirituality, balanced through continually participating in all of God’s wisdom and resources.

Paul says there is only one ingredient that this fullness is dependant upon and he prays for the early church that they would, “…know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with ALL the fullness of God”.

When we desire the gift of Love we do not possess the promises; the promises possess us and grip us with passion for His Glory!  “God does not give us power to love as He loves; the love of God, the very nature of God, possesses us, and He loves through us” [Oswald Chambers] Many slip off the path of fullness and into the pit of claiming the gift.  When the gift is the goal gangrene eats away at the soul and relationships fall apart.  Power to stay on the path of His choosing is forfeited and we have a powerless Christianity.  When the goal is the Giver not the gift – His presence brings purity of soul – and prosperity of life is found in the fullness of God.
