”You have shown your people hard things” [Psalm 60:3]]

Christmas! A joy to some… a rough time for many.  There’s a rustling in the mulberry bush as the signs of the time’s sound and many around the world are watching for His appearing, not as a child, but as the King of Kings!

The truth is there’s only one way to pass through the passage of time before us and that is finding life in God.  It is the way and the witness that this little baby boy is the very presence of Emmanuel – God among us – destined to give Himself to walk among men so that man could find deliverance and fulfill his destiny to walk with God.

It has not been a year without trial and tribulation – stretching and strengthening our faith, at times beyond our comprehension.  With every season the meaning remains the same to know Him and the love that He has for us.  ”Beloved, now we are children of God: and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is” [1 John 3:2].  We are learning greater depths of His Love.

In Christ our ‘hard things’ become a place of shining His Life… ”We are here for one purpose: “to fill up that which is lacking of the afflictions of Christ” – spoilt for this age, alive to nothing but Jesus Christ’s point of view.” [Oswald Chambers].  In this we rejoice with exceeding great JOY!
