Like the days of our lives the leaves reflect the times gone by, from tender green to darker and then a faded shade. From bronze to burnt and golden, the shades reveal the days when wind and storm crashed through our days and we were frail and worn. We were weakened by the trouble yet strengthened by the dawn. His mercy, new each morning, healed wounds that trouble brings,
His voice brought comfort in those days and made our hearts to sing. My ways are not your ways He said and how we know tis true, we stand in grateful wonder at the year He’s brought us through.
There are no words to fit the heart that’s filled with such desire, to thank and give Him praise today and lift His Name up high. As you bless and hold His Name up high remember as in days gone by, He’ll do again what He has done before and draw you close to Him.
We thank you now our Father for joys and sorrows seen,
rough roads your love made straight and smooth, and for the valley’s too
for there Your love has lifted us to
mountain tops with YOU.
“Praise the Lord. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. Who can proclaim the mighty acts of the Lord or fully declare his praise” [Psalm 106:1-2]
