”…woman you are loosed from your infirmity” [Luke 13:12b]

Accepting her plight, but faithfully finding her place in the fellowship of Godly people the woman was in the right place at the right time!   Karios time—the moment when the hand of heaven touched the bowed head of a hungry heart and a crippled body was made whole.  From the touch of His hand and the sound of His voice the power flowed.  Eighteen years she had waited not knowing the details of her destiny until He came and the miracle happened.

From the struggle of dependence on man to strength in a Sovereign Lord, from earthly vision confined to view the ground and lowly things, to new sight, new vision, new hope and the excitement of heavenly perspective.  The once restricted vision of human weakness was exchanged for the sight and sound of expanding boundaries of possibility.

From pleading for mercy to perpetual praise her perspective was filled with the presence of God, this was no small change, but the vast mercy of God performing a miracle of transformation.

When asked, “Why do you believe in miracles?” Henry Drummond replied, “Because I see them everyday in the changed lives of men and women who are saved and lifted through faith in the power of the Living Christ.”
