“In Him we live and move and have our being…” [Acts 17:28]

A couple of years ago I began writing a book called, Glorious Vision…chapter after chapter written and rewritten, but it never really came together, it was more a compilation of what I had been teaching as a broad scope of vision.  I have taught for many years on vision development – mostly as an eternal outworking of what God was saying regarding His plan and purpose in the lives of individuals.

Focus on the vision was always the emphasis, but the secret to vision focus is first and foremost our initial encounter or revelation of Jesus Christ entering into our hearts and taking over our lives.  Lives that ultimately run head on into trial and tribulations that promote and produce power for the greater things that Jesus said we would do.   It becomes the overcoming, more than a conqueror life of resurrection power.

Only as He develops within do we know the meaning of glorious vision.  Seasons come and seasons go each bringing opportunity to allow the Holy Spirit to pierce man’s soul, until the man becomes the vision and life is transformed.  What flows from this life is power for kingdom living and kingdom building.

Living in Him requires the whole man surrender to whatever curves come as we journey with Him. As He leads we move according to the penetrating power of the Holy Spirit directing our steps and our whole being [our personality] is infused with the life of Christ.  This is the prize and the high calling of God, the reward is the glorious vision of an awesome yet ever present God.
