”… I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.”  [John 4:35]

Hot, tired and simply picking up an ink drum for my printer at the local drug store—when suddenly there she was, standing looking at the magazine rack–talking to no one in particular.  Her loneliness and need crying out for…someone to talk to.

Fifteen minutes later her eyes filled with tears, the hope in her heart quickened as God drew near and the ministry of the Holy Spirit through simple words changed her day and her life.

Just before Jesus spoke this word about the harvest He had met the woman at the well—it could have been the local drug store—it could have been in times of economic disaster—world wide famine—even national chaos but what Jesus saw was, “The fields are ripe for harvest…”

The hunger in my heart for revival is overwhelming and overflowing as God assigned miracle moments are happening and changing peoples lives daily.  I used to ‘wait until I was taking a meeting’  –Jesus didn’t wait—he reached out wherever He was and met the needs of people—all people everywhere have needs and most need a miracle.  It is written, ”He called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out evil-spirits and to heal every disease and sickness.” [Matthew 10:1]
