”…without faith it is impossible to please God…”  [Hebrews ll6a]

In a letter to his wife during his first trip to Washington D.C. in 1935 Hubert H. Humphrey wrote: “Honey I can see how someday, if you and I just apply ourselves and make up our minds to work for bigger and better things, we can someday live here in Washington and probably be in government, politics, or service…Oh gosh, I hope my dream comes true.  I’m going to try any how.”

The size of your vision/dream depends on how you answer the question, “How big is your God?”  Recognizing and receiving a personal vision is the beginning of reaching full potential in Christ, responding to what He speaks into your heart and by faith acting upon it is the doorway of knowing Him.  Then you can make Him known.

There is no living faith without passion that empowers you to do what God has planned and predestined you to accomplish,  “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”    [Jeremiah 29:11] Your personal vision/dream becomes your prayer power, “Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you” [Jeremiah 29:12]

“There is no magic in small plans.  When I consider my ministry, I think of the world.  Anything less than that would not be worthy of Christ nor His will for my life.””[Henrietta Mears]  Big vision means big passion, your passion proves your vision and reveals where your passion finds its source.  “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” [Jeremiah 29:11]

That kind of passion…makes Him known!
