“…He Himself has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you” [Hebrews 13:5]

Some of my most wonderful moments have been watching my children grow in the faith of our Lord and to know they hear His voice.  Now as they are grown and serving Him they have taught and are teaching their children the way of faith.  Their testimonies touch my heart so I have to share this one from Austria.   Ava the granddaughter was not well and we had all been praying for her.  Kathleen, her mother wrote…

Tonight, just now as we put Ava to bed… we prayed with her and then sang our song with her… I stayed on with her and shared with her how when she is sick I sing this song over her while she sleeps, and then began singing- “He is the Lord that healeth thee”, which switched to “I am the Lord that healeth thee”.  She was just about asleep so I kissed her goodnight and was about to go down the stairs when she called to me and asked me to come back.  I went to her and she said, “Mommy what was that man’s voice that kept saying – “ich bin da, ich bin da, ich bin da” which means – I am here, I am here, I am here!

I told her that was the Lord speaking to her, letting her know that He is with her.  Wow at 6 years old she has heard the Lord speak to her!!!!!

Oh how precious is the faith of a child and how awesome to know that what God has said He does perform.   There is no greater joy than to hear His voice, we need only see with the eye of the spirit to know the glory of His presence with us -Savior, Healer, Deliverer and Friend!
