Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings” [Psalm 16:8]

Now here is a prayer to pray…the awesome awareness that we are, overshadowed by our heavenly Father as the apple of His eye!  In the midst of nation against nation, wars and ever increasing violence…this is where we need to be and where God Himself is drawing us.   Whatever the difficulty call to mind that we are ‘covered’ by His Presence it will restore peace to the soul and quietness to the heart.

Instead of allowing yourself to be so unhappy, just let your love grow as God wants it to grow; seek goodness in others, love more persons more; love them more impersonally, more unselfishly, without thought of return.   The return, never fear, will take care of itself.  [Henry Drummond]

It is a place of fullness to sit beneath His wings—a place of love and laughter, no matter what life brings.  One thought, one understanding of how He watches you would bring a sense of freedom in all you say and do.  Regardless of life’s journey the part that you must play is working for His Glory each moment of the day.
