To your offspring [or seed] I will give this land…” [Genesis 24:7d]

To know and pray the promise of God is like being an ‘insider’.  The information for life comes spilling over the balcony of heaven morning by morning and with it the power to move steadfastly forward—regardless of the world’s inconsistencies.

In my conversation with others I often perceive the inability to integrate or view the situations of life through the lens of who they are in Christ.  Would Christ be surprised or lose hope in the current maelstrom of life?  Of course not!  There is power in the promises of God and when patience has her perfect work what looks to the world like loss the one with the attitude of Christ it is gain—not just rhetoric but reality—increase comes when change is allowed to take place.

Having a biblical world view or God’s perspective alleviates the stress that is tearing people apart, damaging relationships, creating poor judgment and giving the enemy a foothold in the lives of God’s people.

The peaks and valley’s of life, the good times and the bad times, will never go away they are there for a purpose—they reveal who we are and offer the challenge to either sit in confusion  and do nothing or change and grow—they develop the character of Christ!
