“The law of the Lord is perfect, restoring the whole person; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.” (Psalm 19:7 AMP)

It sounds to me like a person must become simple before he can be made wise.

Simplicity is the most powerful attitude of life, but to reach it one must walk through the forest of complexity.  The greatest masterpiece that God has engineered is the mind of man, yet the mapping of the mind from a worldly perspective creates such complexity that clarity and vision are separated and lost into vagueness and confusion.

Like the beautiful marble that Michelangelo used to bring forth the magnificent sculpture of David, so is the work of the Holy Spirit in the mind of man.  Continually removing the outer shell and tightly woven fibers of man’s thinking, they are replaced with the renewed and beautifully woven thoughts of God as the mind is renewed and authenticity is exposed.  This is the beginning of true genius and man’s ability to rise to higher heights, perform great achievements and cut through the matrix of worldly systems that the mind of man has created.  From the inside to the outside, man has created a false and foolish fabric that denies understanding.

Simplicity is the highest order of achievement. Clear, well defined boundaries are the reflection of healthy thoughts, thoughts that grow to build dynamic pathways of knowing and understanding the true meaning of life.
