”I make known the end from the beginning…what is still to come…My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please” [Isaiah 46:10]
Once a vision is given it is not for man to ‘go make it happen’. To do in the natural what is set before us is good and proper, but to suppose that what we do makes something happen is ridiculous. God is sovereign, He watches over His word to perform it.
Like the beggar at the gate beautiful [Acts 3]; all men are crippled from birth, either we go in awareness of our own need or we are carried through prayer to the entrance of the house of God. It is here that every need is met, every desire for wholeness given, every crippling sin covered and every vision birthed from the heart of God.
We write our visions, discover our mission and organize our goals, but God makes it happen. Unless God becomes the manifestation of the vision then the vision drifts and begins to corrode before the shape is discerned. How do you approach the ‘making of a vision’?
Stay in touch with the one whose vision it is and like the beggar at the gate expect miracles to happen, for it is written, ”You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the people.” [Psalm 77:14]
Four things to remember, First, remember God knows the beginning to the end and everything in-between. Second, the vision is His purpose. Third, it will stand, and fourth, He will do all that pleases Him. There’s really only one requirement for vision manifestation.
Live each day with worship in your heart and watch for My appearing—this is my end—for you to keep Me as your vision.
