“Grace be with you all”

Why do you suppose Paul begins and ends his letters with these words of Grace.  We have used the word Grace until it appears as language to legitimize everything that is not ‘right’ in the world.  An excuse to maintain self-centeredness and sinful living.

Yet His grace is the very power of choice, the power of repentance, revival and renewal.  Grace empowers every good and perfect gift to flow toward God’s people.  Grace is the sufficiency of every need and desire of those longing to know Him and to make Him known.  When Zechariah was rebuilding the temple and problems arose God gave his people the solution—He said, “Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone with shouts of “Grace, grace to it!  [Zechariah 4:7]

When the going gets tough, when the enemy crashes against the walls of those in Jesus Christ it is Grace that prohibits and foils the enemies plans.  Shout, “ Grace, grace to it” Let the word of God dwell and swell within your soul and the prosperity of the kingdom is at your disposal.  Grace must not be set aside and used to excuse the weakness of man’s soul or perpetuate self-righteousness but rather it is the very power that will flow through the weakness and transcends man’s inability to—get it right.

The secret is found in this, “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus”

As the river flows to bring life to the seed, the grace of God will meet your need.  The life He gave is fresh and clean and will not stay where it’s demeaned.  The choice is yours, the power His, by Grace you’re saved and empowered to live.
