”…We do not know what to do, but our eyes are upon you.” [2 Chronicles 20:12c]

One thing is inevitable—everyone is experiencing spiritual warfare, if you think differently you are deceived and deception is the first line of attack of the enemy—deception destroyed Adam and Eve.

There’s a war going on far greater than the fanatical terrorism—however, the leader of this battle has already won the war and leads in triumph!  ”Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army.  For the battle is not yours, but God’s.”  [2 Chronicles 20:15] Paul understood this and said,”So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen.” [2 Corinthians 4:18] In such times as we are living how can we strengthen our resolve—here are a few reminders.

1.            Stay connected to fellow believers—don’t become isolated.

2.            Gather around the Word of God often—unity is in Christ the center of all things.

3.            Learn to encourage yourself in the Word of God—it is the power of perseverance.

4.            Deepen your prayer life—peace is in the quality of relationship with your heavenly         Father.

5.            Share what God is doing—testimony is the power of overcoming.

Circumstances are the latch key to the powerful presence of God—search, seek and sift through your problems and find the treasures of possibility.  Don’t get stuck in the mode of—‘fixing’ what’s broken, birth something new—the power that has already won is on your side.  “What shall we say to these things?  If God is for us, who can be against us?”  [Romans 8:31]
