“At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then, But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered.”
But at that time! Time is once again compressed and a voice is crying in the wilderness and calling our nation back to God—the time of God’s appearing is near!
Time for everyone to turn see what all the commotion is about and seek God. This is what Moses did—He simply turned was caught in the blaze of God’s glory, heaven came down and a plan of deliverance was given. [Exodus 3]
Years ago those that left the religiosity and corruption of the ‘old world’ came and honored God and a plan was given—the constitution of the United States of America.
Time and time again God heard the peoples cry but there was only one overwhelming purpose when heaven came to earth. “…this will be the sign….when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God on this mountain.” Hard to comprehend but Washington will once again, Worship the One true Living God! Everything else will continue to fail miserably.
Worship is not where you go to church, it’s not the music you sing, its not even the Word of God that you hear. These are all prerequisites, they form and mold the heart of a man or woman until there is an attitude that believes and knows God Almighty is the only One worthy of Worship.
Jesus said, “Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.” The person God has purchased by the Blood of Jesus, who has been ‘born again’ and whose mind has been renewed and filled with God’s Word or Way of thinking. Truth that has moved from the head to the heart and come alive experientially—these are the true worshipers. And God is looking for them—
When the circumstances of your life stay in your face, when there are no answers, no change, and no way of understanding what to do next—TURN. All may be well with you and you made the decision to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior—but it has not moved from intellectual acquiescence to a heart-felt KNOWING—you can’t say with honesty—you KNOW God. Then its time to TURN.
As we hear the voices on national t.v. urging… seek the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob—He has not and will not change. He is a jealous God and seeks those who will honor Him.
Whoever or whatever is number one in your life… is the God of your life—move it out of your heart, it is time to TURN and find the safe harbour of a God who loved you enough to come to earth and hang on a Cross, to take your sin away, and give you His righteousness and life.
