“And the Lord said to Moses, Has the Lord’s arm been shortened? Now you shall see whether what I say will happen to you or not.”       [Numbers 11:23]

Yesterday we mentioned the authority of God’s Word – and living by the guidance of it.  Just think if we don’t believe what it says in one place we’re not going to believe what it says elsewhere.  We must believe what God does not want for us, and then we can surely believe what HE DOES WANT FOR US!

Recently we spent a couple of hours listening to an insurance salesman who really knew his stuff!   And this morning I am reminded that the Covenant of Almighty God is like an insurance covering like no other.  As His children we must know what is within the policy!

The deception of the evil one seeps its ugly work through both sides of the issue.  But when we believe and obey in all things the glorious promises of God are ‘Ye and Amen’.  The covenant is full of requirements and promises!

It is so wonderful to have mountain top experiences where we hear and believe the promise of God, but what of the valley and day to day living?  “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent, Has He said, and will He not do?  Or has He spoken and will He not make it good” [Numbers 23:19-].  What He has said He is well able to accomplish!

It is through the day to day attitude of belief that action takes place and God brings His promises into manifestation.  He is not just a God who delivers, but a God who develops your life into His fullness.

As a new creation in Christ you are covered by an unbreakable policy that not only insures, but it brings great assurance that God will perform what He has written and signed for in the Blood of Christ!
