My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.  Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.  For they are life unto those that find them and health to all their flesh” [Proverbs 4:20-22]

By God’s divine appointment every family member was with us and through the storm of surgery and recovery proved the quote on the plaque that hangs on our bedroom wall.  “Our family is a circle of strength and love”

It began when the family was much smaller, you could say a single cell.  As that cell we responded to the call of God and began to ‘attend to His words’.   The greatest lesson of parenting is found right here in these words.  “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he shall not depart from it” [Proverbs 22:6]  A child, a family, a business will only travel in the direction the homing signal has prepared him for.

When something is small it is more manageable, pliable and trainable and when the starting point is right the finish line will pull that ‘rightness’ toward itself.  Whether we speak of marriages, children, families or flesh at the cellular level, the principle remains the same.  To produce health it must be healthy, it must be healthy within itself to create well being and harmony.

Our God is a Father of the smallest detail, He knows the way we take, the trouble we face and the triumph of our days.  Whatever the circumstances you and I face, going back to the center, the source, or cellular level and allowing the light of His Word to shine will give the wisdom that prepares and equips us for life!
