Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;” [Psalm 91:14a]

We began the day with a local power outage…and within this tiny sample was a glimmer of what life is like when suddenly power is gone and man is helpless.

Hurricanes, tornadoes, bombs, earthquakes…how can anyone be prepared for such sudden and drastic changes? Or for a time when suddenly the air is full of sirens—ambulances screaming through the night spelling out that comfort zones are gone tragedy has come.

As God’s children are we prepared for what tomorrow holds knowing we can never predict tomorrow? Or are we so busy in today, preparation for tomorrow is far from us?

How can one prepare for the unknown? As disciples of Christ we have this confidence that even a sparrow falling to the ground is not without God’s knowledge so…

Stay close—”He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty” There’s no safer place to be.

Speak out—”I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress My God, in Him I will trust” Words created the universe—His words have power to attract like-kind what you say is what you get.

Stand strong—”Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler. And from the perilous pestilence.”  He knows what you don’t and He will act to save you.

Seek cover—”He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler” To get to you the world or the enemy must first go through God!   [Psalm 91:1-4]
