“I tell you the truth; no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.” [John 3:3]

Knowing which kingdom you are living in is very obvious to those around you.  Paul said to Timothy, no one serving as a soldier gets involved in civilian affairs, he wants to please his commanding officer”. [2 Timothy 2:4]  A person’s ‘commanding officer’ then becomes obvious, because his nature becomes like unto the nature of the kingdom he lives in, it’s a cultural thing.

Being called and chosen of God means life has one overriding and overwhelming goal – to know God and to make Him known!   If we become like those around us we lose our influence.  The gospel of Jesus Christ is either accepted or rejected; it is an offense in a world full of man’s control and manipulations.   Wherever God has placed His people He has one desire – for them to make known Christ as the Son of God and manifest His Kingdom!

Moses became a ‘prince of Egypt’ for one reason, to fulfill the purpose of God and to save Israel through whom the Messiah would come.  Joseph was placed ‘in charge’ of the whole land of Egypt for one reason – to save the nation of Israel during time of famine.

Only the power of His presence impacts the world around us and only when He is Lord will He be seen as Sovereign God, ruler of all nations.
