“…we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen…” [2 Corinthians 4:18a]
It’s tough to break through the known to the unknown, to believe the impossible to be possible, to know that beyond us exists something so wonderful, so glorious – a place wherein nothing is impossible. Yet it is here that God exists and our journey to know Him becomes the joy of creative power flowing from His heart to ours.
Creativity – imagination – these are the doorways of entering into the world we were uniquely designed for, “Creativity is…seeing something that doesn’t exist already. You need to find out how you can bring it into being and that way be a playmate with God” [Michele Shea]
This was the experience of Abraham, “Who did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God…being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.” [Romans 4:20-21]
No dream, no plan, no purpose or desire of God has greater reality of continuing fulfillment than the promise of God to Abraham who was promised children as many as the grains as the sands of the ocean. Abraham was blessed to be a blessing – and so are you. Believe, trust and rely on the God who is beyond knowing yet made Himself known at Calvary. To those who would receive Christ and reach for Him – beyond themselves.
