Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.  You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion…”  [2 Corinthians 9:10-11].

Rich in every way—sower, seed, harvest, righteousness, rich in every way.

There is a very real and eternal sequence to the promises and principles of God.   Divine order cannot be realigned or reshuffled at will.  If we want to see increase and live a righteous life then we must learn to live the principle of sowing and reaping, seed time and harvest, fallow and full.  Every farmer understands the hidden meaning in this principle:  we reap what we sow, more than we sow, and later than we sow.  What we sow today will continue to reap tomorrow.

Be a sower of good seed—that means give goodness—whatever you have received of the goodness of God be willing to invest into the lives of others.  ”A generous man will prosper; he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed.”  [Proverbs 11:25].

If you are not satisfied with what you are reaping check what you are sowing and be willing to change.  ”And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way; bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God.” [Colossians 1:10]
