Then He put His hands on his eyes again and made him look up.  And he was restored and saw everyone clearly.”  [Mark 8:25]

The man had sight but no vision.  Sight comes from the head.  Vision comes from the heart!  If you have no clear vision then you need a ‘second touch’ from God.   Along with the ‘second touch’ came the word,”…and made him look up…”   Being touched by God requires you to look up to God.   The blind man had enough sight to see dimly; he was not touched enough to be changed.

What you see is turned into clear vision by what you think.  It is perception that comes when you ‘look up’.

“…lean not to your own understanding [which is dim at best] in all your ways acknowledge Him. And He shall direct your paths.”  [Proverbs 3:5-6]  Before you look out to the circumstances, those around you, or look in to soul’s powers look up to the mercy and grace of Almighty God for ‘a second touch.’

The man had received reconciliation by the first touch; it took the second touch for total restoration.  The devil doesn’t want you to reach your full potential in Christ and being satisfied with sight and no vision robs you of the glorious revelation of all God’s creation.  Seeing men walking as trees is like walking in the shadows, there is little or no definition to life, no practical application of destiny.  When you walk in the light as He is in the Light everything changes, but mostly you change and the enemy hates it!   To change a mind-set or perception will not only bring a changed life but abilities beyond yourself and equipping to fulfill the Father’s purpose and plan for your life.
