So he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord…Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord Almighty”           [Zechariah 4:6]

Friday we touched on Word Power but Paul said the Word without the Spirit kills! [2 Corinthians 3:6]  So we have this reminder this morning that His Word [what God promises] is accomplished by His Spirit

This Spring I’ve been watching a certain flower grow and wondering when it was going to bloom—it grew so tall I thought perhaps I was mistaken, that is was not what I had planted but rather a weed and I was tempted to pull it up… but I waited.   Suddenly after growing two feet taller than expected it began to bloom.  The over abundance of rain had caused extraordinary growth and the long awaited bloom is more lovely than I could imagine.

I believe if Jesus were standing among us He would use such truth as a parable…see the abundance of every living thing as it relies and depends upon its creator is flourishing and that which was dry and arid is revitalized, reformed, renewed and rejoicing.

We cannot tell what life will look like when a desire is fulfilled, a dream or destiny realized—”However…no eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him” [1 Corinthians 2:9]—when God is in the blooming it will be more beautiful than you can imagine.
