”…They marched out boldly in full view of all the Egyptians…” [Numbers 33:3b]

Oops, let’s not be too hasty.  Unless you know who you are in Christ and who Christ is in you, boldness will elude you or you will strive to be bold in your own strength, make your own plans and end up living by the law!  Duty that works rather than devotion that worships is for those still living under the law.

Those delivered by Christ are delivered not in part but the whole!  You are no longer in bondage to the law, but have been born again as a new creation.  At the starting point you must remember:

You are re-created!  ”…if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” [2 Corinthians 5:17].  A new creation that is nothing like the old creature.  The old is gone; he/she no longer exists!  The new is an heir with Christ, more than that a joint heir—you get the same inheritance!

You’ve been called! ”You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last.  Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name” [John 15:16.  Called for a purpose, you have an agenda, a task to complete, a destiny to fulfill; called to bear fruit, you are BORN TO SERVE!

It is the ‘memory’ of the old that the enemy uses to hinder, halt, hurt and harangue God’s children.  When God had a choice He chose you, now the choice is yours to accept.  Therefore, march out boldly in full view of the world and go and bear fruit!
