”…They marched out boldly in full view of all the Egyptians…” [Numbers 33:3b]
Some would say that your relationship with God is personal and as such it should never be necessary to ‘go public’! Well excuse me but except the Son of God be held up to public display and ridicule the purpose of God could not be fulfilled. Jesus said, if anyone is ashamed of me and my words…I’ll be ashamed of him…” [Luke 9:26]
Basic to the ‘stages’ of growth of Christian life is the willingness to …march out boldly…” The only time words are not necessary is when action speaks more loudly and throwing caution to the wind allows faith to become public by action. Maybe its time to ask for boldness!
When you ask for boldness you can expect miracles to follow, ”Now Lord,…grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs, and wonders may be done through the name of Your Holy Servant Jesus” [Acts 4:29-30]
When you ask for boldness you can expect things around you to begin to shake; old restraints are broken away and a fresh filling of the Holy Spirit is given.
