”…when you cross the border drive out all the inhabitants…” [Numbers 33:52a]

When the Lord leads you across the borders of new visions or dreams you will always run into the ‘giants’.  We call them giants because no matter what their size, to the one that must overcome them they are big!!   In his book, “The Dream Giver” Dr. Bruce Wilkinson calls them – border bullies.  Whatever you call them anything that would hinder your way forward is a giant border bully.

The largest giants are found in our thoughts; all the impossibilities of the dream.  These are border bullies.  There’s a divine order and initiative when you get to the border.  Once the vision is seen and the motivation sparked, it’s your responsibility to drive out the inhabitants of fear, doubt, and unbelief.  Take no prisoners, exterminate those attitudes in yourself and ignore them in others by pushing past with a passion for God.   It’s the very reason Jesus said – ”Have faith in God,…I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, Go, throw yourself into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will happen it will be done for him [Mark 11:23].

“Faith means that I commit myself absolutely on to Him, sink or swim, and you do both, you sink out of yourself and swim into Him”. [Oswald Chambers]
