”…stand your ground… And don’t hold back…” [1 Corinthians 16:58 The Message]

There’s a tension line, but in-spite of treason, terror, temptation, testing and trial, be steadfast.  This is not the time to count your loses and move on, move over or more out.   Stand firm and warn those around you.

Move forward into the eye of the storm and you will find a Holy calm, be alert to the One calling you into the eye, which for the people of God is the Holy Place!  During this time of havoc in the nations listen to the words of Isaiah.  “Weep for my people’s gardens and farms…cry tears, real tears, for the happy homes no longer happy, the merry city no longer merry, the emptied parks and playgrounds taken over by wild animals…Yes weep and grieve until the Spirit is poured down on us from above” [Isaiah 32:15 The Message].

Be compassionate, but do not compromise—God’s Spirit is the answer, listen to what follows—“…justice will move into the badlands…Right will build a home in the fertile field, there’ll be Peace and the progeny of Right: quiet lives and endless trust,”

There is a place of quiet rest near to the heart of God—a place where all is peace and rest near to the heart of God.”  Go there and amid the trial, testing, temptation, terror and treason of the day you will discover afresh and anew—Christ is alive.  His ashes are still warm—ignite the flame.  He is not the great I was or the great I will be, He is the great I AM the God of Israel.  Weep and pray for the Peace of Jerusalem.
