”I’m feeling terrible—I couldn’t feel worse!  Get me on my feet again. You promised remember?”  [Psalm 119:25 The Message]

After long usage everything tends toward weakness—there’s a propensity to sagging—the strongest saint needs whatever it takes to ‘strengthen the weak knees’.  Take a moment this morning to remember these words from one who traveled the same road.

God provided for my needs:  “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want…” [Psalm 23:1]

God provided for my peace:  “…he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul…”  [Psalm 23:2b]

God provided my direction:  “…he guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake”  [Psalm 23:3]

God provided for my protection:  “…I will fear no evil for you are with me…” [Psalm 23:4b]

God provides from my sustenance: “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.” [Psalm 23:5]

At the table of fellowship He fed me—He sets the table for me right in the presence of my enemies—as Winston Churchill said of the British people during WWII—“Now is our finest hour”  Friends there’s a war going on—don’t sage, don’t slow up but remain steady—and remember, “Courage is contagious.  When a brave man takes a stand, the spines of others are stiffened. “[Billy Graham – Life of Wisdom]
