“…going a little farther…” [Matthew 26:39]
You think you’ve gone as far as you can go—you’ve done all you know to do—but there’s Easter, and the victory says…you can always ”go a little farther” because He already has—you can!
It may seem your need is too great—but He went a little further and “…is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine…” [Ephesians 3:20]
Your thoughts say you’ve reached the limit—but His thoughts go farther, ”As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” [Isaiah 55:9]
You believe, but have no power—but by God’s power He went a little further and said, ”With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God” [Mark 10:27]
You have given until you are empty—but His giving went a little further. “He made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God” [2 Corinthians 5:21]
You have used all of your resources—but He went a little further and said, “…God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus” [Philippians 4:19]
You’re not sure who you are—but He went a little farther and because He did, ”…you are complete in Him who is the head of all principality and power” [Colossians 2:10]
Now as you live and move and have your being in Him—you can go a little farther for His Glory!
