“When the soldiers crucified Jesus, they took his clothes, dividing them into four shares, one for each of them, with the undergarment remaining. This garment was seamless, woven in one piece from top to bottom.” [John 19:23]
One must let go in order to receive, we must forget in order to reform, we have to renounce in order to remake and we have to remove in order to renew. Man needs a deep down knowing who Christ is, what He can do, and Why He is working in the earth today. For us to be engaged and part of His plan we must turn loose of our own plan, our own purpose and our own misguided expectations. The Father has so much more in store for those that love Him; meaning, for those who are reconciled, bonded and birthed into the Kingdom as a new creation. We need Christ and His powerful presence to assist us in getting rid of everything that would so easily beset us and hinder our way forward. He has promised a path that is lined with peace and fruitfulness, lit by His awesome light, it is a Holy path. Holiness is smooth because it is seamless, there is nothing marred, nothing is tattered or torn. It is the reason why even unholy men knew t hey should not tare the seamless robe of Jesus –it was a Holy robe. The royal robe was gone—His outer clothing stripped from His body, all that remained was the robe of righteousness, worn in humility the man that wears this robe lives in holy peace.
