“Is not My word like a “fire?” says the Lord, “And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?” [Jeremiah 23:29]

What you learned in the valley empowers you to be a vessel of God’s love and speaking truth brings freedom.

Times are difficult and many ask questions about other religions, cultural biases, etc.  It always begins with, “What do you think about–?”  We’ve all heard it and more often than not there is hesitancy to answer, a sense of intimidation and a very real blurring of the truth.  Being politically correct simply means—I don’t want to hurt people’s feelings, I don’t want to be labeled…I’m not sure what the truth is, you name it!   So what is the answer?

In the valley we learn through experiencing the great love of God that only truth can set people free; a love that can love every human being and hate the ways of the world, a love that hates sin, but loves the sinner.  God hasn’t changed and neither does His Word—it is fulfilled through loving sacrifice. “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets.  I did not come to destroy but to fulfill”. [Matthew 5:17] God’s all-consuming love transcends the law; love speaks truth, but it does not change or deny the truth!

In conversations with the world or carnal Christians, walk gently and carry a velvet hammer.  The hammer of truth when flowing from a heart of love will set the captives free.  Without such love the law will maim, kill, and build walls of hate and ignorance.   “For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He even gave up His only begotten unique Son, so that whoever believes in, trusts in, clings to, relies on Him shall not perish come to destruction, be lost but have eternal everlasting life”

And that’s the TRUTH!
