“…causing you to hunger then feeding you with manna….”  [Deuteronomy 8:3]

Hindsight is more than 20/20—It’s the supreme manifestation of the presence and purpose of God.  Moses was told this in wanting to see God’s Glory, ”…you cannot see my face…”  but ”When my glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft in the rock and cover you with my hand until I have passed by. …then…you will see my back…”  [Exodus 33:20-22] Whatever happens in life, hindsight gives a fresh revelation and knowledge of who God is, therefore, don’t waste any season but know God is in the midst.

Seeing God in hindsight gives you insight into knowing Him and why He is leading you along a particular path of life.   Job knew this when at last he said, ”…My ears had heard of you but now my eyes have seen you”  [Job 42:5] Having insight is the manna that will give you the foresight that He desires for us to be ”…walking in His ways and revering Him.  For the Lord…is bringing you into a good land—“ [Deuteronomy 8:6-7]

It’s His love that draws His people down the path of life even when the way home is rough.  In his book Grace Walk—Steve McVey writes, “When asked which is the greatest commandment God has given, Jesus said that it is to love Him.  A person’s love for God is directly proportionate to their knowledge of Him”

Last month we cried out to God, interceding for our nation and asking for a manifestation of His power.  For some the unexpected happened and they were shocked—but this was God’s power—whether a real storm or a political storm God is Sovereign—He will not be mocked the major key to the journey home is repentance—we need His power to bring a people or a nation to its knees—and He will do it—no greater Love has God than this that He would lay down His life for us and He requires the same from us.
