”…thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”  [1 Corinthians 15:57 NKJ]

The end of a chapter for Paul – what a finish line!  The victory is not only already won, but is a continuous state of being!  Christ gives purpose a constant flow of victorious life.

Man’s life-plan is based on competition, being the best, grabbing the golden ring and looking out for number one!  Not so with God!  He has gotten the victory and gives it to all those who will recognize He doesn’t need to compete!   You can tell you’re walking in God’s completion by Paul’s criteria.  It looks like this. ”With all this going for us, my dear, dear friends…  Be steadfast, stand your ground, don’t look back, and maintain a forward thrust.  Don’t sit around second-guessing yesterday.  “…Forgetting those things that are behind…press on…” [Philippians 3:13-14] This is the freedom of victory.

Be immovable!  Don’t let go of the reality God has given you and don’t hold back.  The world needs those who will not compromise or back down from the truth.  Jesus Christ was not, is not a passive, weakling.  He was and is a strong courageous warrior.

Abound in the work of the Lord!  Whatever is in your hand – use it!  Whatever task lies before you – perform it!  Throw yourself into the work of the Master.  God said to Moses,”What’s that in your hand… throw it down” [Exodus 3: -2-5] When you use what God has given, the victory flows through it. This is the favor of victory!

Be confident!  Everything is valuable in God’s kingdom.  Nothing you do for Him is a waste of time or effort.  ”The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way.”  [Psalm 37:23] This is the fullness of God’s victory!
