“In Him all the treasures of divine wisdom, comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God and all the riches of spiritual knowledge and enlightenment are stored up and lie hidden”  [Colossians 2:3 AMP]

So you’ve walked through the valleys…what on earth does that have to do with a successful life?

Good question.  What you learn in the valley is stored within as comprehensive insight, rich spiritual knowledge and treasures of divine wisdom.  This week as you walk into the board room, the school room, the court room, the dining room, or any meeting room, in any walk of life…these are the things YOU bring to the table.

Here are three simple instructions for gaining respect and blowing intellectualism, vain deceit and human tradition away from the table.

LISTEN:  In the words of James, “Let everyman be quick to hear, a ready listener, slow to speak, slow to take offense and to get angry” [James 1:19 AMP]

TIMING:  Listening to the wisdom from Christ before you judge the words of others will allow time to hear beyond the words and know insight and understanding.  Answering according to insight will bring wisdom to the table.

STAY CONNECTED:  As usual the last is really the first—unless you are connected to the One who is wisdom, you will open your mouth rashly and put in foot.  “As you have therefore received Christ, even Jesus the Lord, so walk, regulated your lives and conduct yourselves in union with and conformity to Him” [Colossians 2:6]
