“Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert” [Isaiah 43:18]

Listen for instructions – listening requires a stillness of heart, an attitude that is open and willing to hear different perspectives.  Don’t close the door of difference, but  determine to listen beyond preconceived notions.  Comfort is not one of God’s prime directives.  The unusual and different invariably will have the effects of some internal discomfort.   Moving beyond the discomfort will grant you greater ability to objectively discern the purpose of God for the coming season and great joy at partnering with the God of the universe!

Even the roughness of the old can be so familiar to us that it is comfortable.  The Israelites were so uncomfortable journeying away from the past that they longed to return, they yearned for the comfort of bondage! They created their own basket of doubt and lost out on the awesome possibilities of the promise land.

Things that seem impossible shall be made possible.  All that has been accomplished in the past has now become that which is proven possible.  In other words faith has become sight, what you desired in earlier seasons God has provided and proved Himself.  Therefore just as you did in prior times go forward, God is a limitless God and for a child of the Most High God’s potential is awesome.  Like Abraham, it’s time to step out into the unfamiliar, potential is never grasped it is only journeyed into.  Faith must be stretched to fulfill the future.
