He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it” [Thessalonians 5:24]

For many years I sat and listened as week after week the message of salvation was given.  I taught the children, tried to encourage the youth and motivate the adults to live, to love and to learn of Christ who is humble and gentle of soul.  All the time the fire and passion for evangelism grew until it was ‘a fire in my bones’.  The message from the pulpit was faithful; go into all the world and preach the gospel, and my heart said, ‘who…me… Lord… I’m a just a woman…suppose they will not believe me or listen to my voice, suppose they say, The Lord has not appeared to you”—and many did!

That was 39 years ago and nation after nation has found me in the place of His calling whenever and wherever He planned. “Because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted. To proclaim liberty to the captives and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.”  When the call comes—I still go—God opens the doors and fulfills everything He has promised.

Jesus said, “I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father” [John 14:12 AMP] Jesus had to ‘go’ so that you could receive.  You have to ‘go’ so that others may do the same.  Think about it!  He who calls you is a promise maker and a promise keeper!  He will do it!
