”And a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years…”
[Luke 13:11 NIV]
Christmas is a special mirror reflecting back memories—memories of past pains and sorrows as well as joyful times. Christmas—the presence of Christ the anointed One is with us in such simple and quiet ways. The other day I received an e-mail from a dear friend and in reference to all the preparations for the season she wrote—are you almost there? I knew she meant were my preparation complete but my heart was strangely stirred and tears filled my eyes.
Such simple words but so full of depth of meaning—are you almost there? Are you with every turn of years end drawn closer to the healing presence of Almighty God? The Spirit of Christmas—Immanuel—is come with the warmth of healing and deliverance from every crippling spirit.
Lost in the pages of bygone days are the moments when the crippling spirit came—but now—Immanuel—Christ the Anointed One comes with simplicity into the memories. What was twisted and crippled is made straight and praise fills the heart.
You’re almost there… give Him your memories and hear Him whisper, “child of mine you are set free from your infirmity.”
