“I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth…” [John 16:12-13]
These were the words coming from the Holy Spirit, who is the Spirit of Truth. You don’t know what you don’t know… spoken to me 18 months ago. I could write a book on all the things I didn’t know then, but I know now. In the hands of the Father they were all good, but the Spirit of Truth is often negative in its first appearing. We often respond with …this is the devil, and using the weapons of our warfare we begin to confront the conflict. As we should! However the confrontation and conflict before it changes the circumstances changes ‘us’. The battle within is raged until the Prince of Peace speaks and all is at rest.
Knowing the Sovereignty of God is made real at these times and we begin to learn how to abide in this place of peace. He is God; He is number One and rules and reigns in His Kingdom.
The atmosphere of our nation and the nations of the world is dark and very negative. However the God, who died for all, sees all and is Sovereign. He repels the darkness through His kingdom reign; through His people and is present even in the darkness. “Indeed, the darkness shall not hide from You, but the night shines as the day; The darkness and the light are both alike to You”
How shall we then live in this end time closing of the ages? 1. Move more deeply into the kingdom and keep your lamps burning brightly. 2. Be at peace with all those God has sent into your life. 3. Withhold nothing from those in need. 4. Participate in the work of the kingdom. 5. Be patient, tolerant and warn others of the impending danger of evil. 6. Fight the good fight of faith and stand!
